Hello
I have an OKIPAGE 4W printer and can't get it working under Windows 2000 (final).
At OKI's homepage I can't find ANY OkiPage 4W drivers - only 4W Plus: which are not compatible since under Win 9x the 4W Plus drivers did not work with my printer, so they don't work under Windows 2000 in the same way (printer starts printing, but the paper ist empty...)
So I've to use my original drivers on disk, which igot when I bough the printer (of course there were no NT4/5 drivers at that time...) And now OKI supplys only the new driver for OkiPage 4W Plus..
I've already tryed to install the original Windows 9x drivers, but at the end of the installation Windows 2000 cancels and there is no printer in the printer control panel...
Switching between ECP/EPP/Normal in the BIOS did not help.
I hope someone can help - thank you

I've tried the ftp://ftp2.okidata.com/pub/drivers/led/oki4w3.exe
Didn't work at all for me..
It just prints half the line of the page (first line that is) and then the rest is just blank. The weird part is that it works great under windows98..?
I'm open for suggestions
Thanks

Hello
Well, I got this problem BEFORE I've downloaded this file... I never got more than this one line on top of the page...
My problem was that I had to use 4w Plus drivers (didn't found those 4w drivers),
but after about 30min I got the printer running well under Windows 2000 with this file.
The installation is not that easy, you MUST remove all old OKIPAGE 4w drivers! And read exactly the readme file!
Thanks for the url shadowraven
bye...
