Onboard grafic card for second Monitor ?

This is a discussion about Onboard grafic card for second Monitor ? in the Windows Hardware category; I have an ASUS CUSL2 board with some onboard gafic chip. I use my GeForce but wonder If I can use the onboard grafic card to connect a second screen to my PC but there's no other grafic card listed in the device manager than my GeForce ?! Is there a way to get them to work both at the same time ?.

Onboard stuff usually needs to have some software/drivers [should come with your motherboard] to be recognized in Windows. If you can get it recognized that way, then you should be able to select the dual monitor setting.

i have an intel mu440ex with onboard AGP crap and it works fine as a 2nd display in win98, but in win2k all it ever says is "This Device cannot start (Code 10)"
the onboard chip works fine if i dont have any other vid adapters physically in the comp.
