Onboard grafic card for second Monitor ?
This is a discussion about Onboard grafic card for second Monitor ? in the Windows Hardware category; I have an ASUS CUSL2 board with some onboard gafic chip. I use my GeForce but wonder If I can use the onboard grafic card to connect a second screen to my PC but there's no other grafic card listed in the device manager than my GeForce ?! Is there a way to get them to work both at the same time ?.

Onboard stuff usually needs to have some software/drivers [should come with your motherboard] to be recognized in Windows. If you can get it recognized that way, then you should be able to select the dual monitor setting.

Don't know an answer, but am very interested in finding out a way as well(*fellow CUSL2 user*)
i have an intel mu440ex with onboard AGP crap and it works fine as a 2nd display in win98, but in win2k all it ever says is "This Device cannot start (Code 10)"
the onboard chip works fine if i dont have any other vid adapters physically in the comp.

I remember reading somewhere you can not use the onboard video it you are useing the apg. But you still try...
forgot to mention im using PCI adapters...then onboard video is AGP and as a consequence i dont have an AGP slot
