Which drivers are you using? Don't forget that MS stated they won't ship any OpenGL drivers "in the box"...

I am using ones that windows installed by default, I can run games in software mode but not in open gl, this sucks can't even start up qauke3, says it connect initalize open gl
as I under stand it 3DLab's has done any Win2k drivers for the PERMEDIA 2.
Give a Try this "Downlaod this" http://www.3dlabs.com/drivers/nt211555.zip
extract 3dogldrv.dll rename it to opengl32.dll put it your quake3 folder

its a no go give me the same can't initualize subsystem....this sucks
