Overclocking a Compaq

My compaq has no motherboard manual, so I can't do any hard jumper settings. . . so I'm looking for any software that can change my FSB and/ or my clock multiplier? WCPUid shows me as having a 498mhz with a 100mhz FSB PIII 500.

WCPUid shows me as having a 498mhz with a 100mhz FSB PIII 500. It is a year old, so I doubt the clock multiplier is locked.
The chipset of the mobo is 440BX/DX.
Any suggestions?
I'd like to see if I can get her up to 550, or 600.

Not sure the ap I used, but the clock wasn't locked. I **** you not.
I kept the FSB the same, and got it to go to 550, and 600 while I was in Windows.
But when I rebooted, it was gone.
Soft FSB does the same thing, sort of..it shows my FSB being changed, but WCPUid doesn't acknowledge any speed gain or FSB change.
And as the thread says, it's a Compaq. There is NO BIOS to speak of.

Pathetic.
And Compaq hasn't emailed me back.

I kept the FSB the same, and got it to go to 550, and 600 while I was in Windows.
