PC133 memory with 800/100MHz core OK?

This is a discussion about PC133 memory with 800/100MHz core OK? in the Windows Hardware category; Is it OK to run PC133 memory with a 800MHz CPU with 100MHz core? I've been running the 800 on a P3B-F but just got some PC133 memory, so I'd like to use both in my ASUS P3V4X. Are there different issues with WIn2K & Win 98SE with doing this? Is it OK to run PC133 memory with a 800MHz CPU with 100MHz core? I've been running the 800 on a P3B-F but just got some PC133 memory, so I'd like to use both in my ASUS P3V4X.
 
Are there different issues with WIn2K & Win 98SE with doing this?
 
I've heard several people ask if it's OK to run PC100 with a 100 core CPU, but not the other way around.

Oops...I meant I've seen several people ask if they could use PC100 with a 133 core CPU, not 100 -> 100. :):

Think of it as a "Its certified to go at least this fast" kind of a rating...
 
In other words ... you'll have no problem.
