Hi,

I have the following problems with w2k (2195:
When I restart or reboot w2k it freezes just when it's suppoused to reboot or shutdown, forceing me to hit reset (the power button won't work). Any ideas? I do not have a APM "window" under "Power Options Properties".

The second problem is with DirectCD 2.5d and 3.01b (or whatever), I've tried all versions and all upgrades, but it _still_ reboots my computer when I start DirectCD. Any ideas?

My computer is a Athlon K7 600MHz, m/board is a Asus K7M, SBLive!, 256M ram, HP CD-RW 7200i and G400. I hope _someone_ can help me. In any event, I'm going to do a clean install _again_ next weekend! (I get a blue screen when I trie to go to safe mode. Could someone explain to me what the purpouse of safe mode is if you get a blue screen when booting into it )

OP
I solved the DirectCD problem, there seems to be a conflict between DirectCD 2.X/3.X and McAfee 4.xx which results in a reboot when you start DirectCD... I hope that either Adaptec or McAfee will fix it soon!
