I have a Cannon BJ200 printer hooked up to my LPT1 parallel printer port. Printing works just fine under win98, but under win2k I get an odd message. When I setup the printer and either attempt to print a document or do a test print, I get the following message:

There was an error found when printing the document "Test Page" to LPT1. Do you want to retry or cancel the job.

Even if I retry, I get the same message. If I reboot, enter win98, it works just fine.

Any ideas???

Well I did some more troubleshooting and it appears that win2k can't handle EPP v1.9 (settings under bios) parellel ports. I went into my bios and changed the parellel port from "EPP V1.9" to "ECP+EPP" and I can now print just fine. Anyone know how to get printing working under EPP mode?
