i use a sb16 (isa) with a scsi cont.
i have no problems.
you need to set your bios plug and play option for the irq used by the sb16 to leg/isa only. so only the sound card gets the irq. i use irq 5 for the sb16 and irq 11 for the scsi bilt into the sb16 this is set by junpers on the sb16.
when installing win2k pro it auto detected my sound card but not the game controller and the scsi cont.
had to add them in maualy.
use generic game controler the creative game control will look like its working but be unable to find any jotsticks.
or just go out and get a awe 32,64 they work just fine and sell for like $20 oem.

Good luck
