This is a discussion about Quake 3 Arena/2195.1/V3 2000 pci in the Windows Games category; How do i get quake 3 to use open GL drivers in windows 2000 build 2195. 1 for my voodoo3 2000 pci card i am so fet up i have been trying to install hacked drivers but for some reason they don't work for me Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Not sure what your doing wrong, grab the drivers from my site http://seldzar.dhs.org
update the voodoo3 driver from device manager and point it to the temp folder where you unzipped the drivers and overwrite any files. All should be good.
If not follow the directions in the zip file.
Also be sure to edit the ini file to reflect your vooodoo3 clock speed. default is 166

Whoah!, web service was ****ed......wonder for how long? Nice of someone to let me know it was pooched! =(
service fixed, was wierd said it coudln't connect to my on computer name. (??) Just reinstalled it, should be all good now.
I get the same problem whenever I go to load Q3A, it says it can't load the gl subsystem. UT, runs great, but Q3A has yet to show me it's stuff on Win2k, if you can help, I'd be greatful.
On a footnote, I did get your files on the last version of Win2k, but I still couldn't get Q3A to work.
