Quake 3 Arena Sound
This is a discussion about Quake 3 Arena Sound in the Windows Games category; I recently aquired this game, and on attempt at running it it seems fine for all but one thing. . the sound Instead of any reasoned sfx, all i get is a dead sounding 'bleep' type thing, for instance on selecting a menu item or firing a gun.

Instead of any reasoned sfx, all i get is a dead sounding 'bleep' type thing, for instance on selecting a menu item or firing a gun. It is always the same sound and im unsure whether this is a win2k problem or a problem of my system..
I have a Sound Blaster PCI64V which runs fine on everything else..
Any ideas ?
