Quake3 Colors completely screwed up voodoo3 2000/rc3

This is a discussion about Quake3 Colors completely screwed up voodoo3 2000/rc3 in the Windows Games category; Whenever I try to play quake3, I get a red screen, then all the colors are garbled. . . any ideas?.

try a fresh install(win2k)and install the voodoo3 drivers again.. then tell us how that went!

I had the same problem with my Velocity (voodoo 2000). I just figured it out. Start up Q3 and the colors will be all hosed. Alt-tab out of it and go back into it and the colors will be fixed. The gamma is a little darker than it should be and can't be adjusted but it plays well.
