Quake3, MX300, and A3D

This is a discussion about Quake3, MX300, and A3D in the Windows Hardware category; I tried searching for this in the forums, I was wondering how to be able to run A3D on win2000 retail build with an MX300. Do I need to install certain drivers or something? Oh, btw, I have a single processor system thanks guys, Fusion.

sorry bro I dont know the answer but I just wanted to throw some advice your way, the mx300 has a aureal sq2500 chip correct? if that is true, which I think it is but I could be mistaken, there is a huge performance loss when a3d is enabled.
