Quicken Backup to Zip Drive
This is a discussion about Quicken Backup to Zip Drive in the Slack Space category; I have a internal 100 MB Omeaga Zip Drive. When I was using Windows 98 I backed up my Quicken 6 file to the Zip Drive. I am now using Windows 2000 and if I try to back the file up to the Zip drive I get the message to Please enter a valid file name.

I can send files to the Zip drive from other applications such as Word, Excel, etc. and also read/download from the Zip drive to those applications. Is the problem with Quicken or with the Omeaga driver?

I backup Quicken to an Iomega 100 meg Zip drive. Are you using Quicken 2000?
I am using Quicken 99 (since a lot of people say Quicken 2000 is a nightmare) and doing exactly what you want to do with no problems. There is a new Iomegaware on the iomega site 2.2.1a or something, try that!

I am using Quicken 6. I would upgrade to Quicken 99 or Quicken 2000 if that would solve the problem. Hate to do that if the problem would persist. Thanks for the help.
