RAM dumps in Diablo 2 and UO
This is a discussion about RAM dumps in Diablo 2 and UO in the Windows Hardware category; just recently i started getting bsods in d2 and in ultima online. uo used to freeze sometimes under win2k, but that problem seemed to have cleared up. and i havent had any problems until just recently.
just recently i started getting bsods in d2 and in ultima online. uo used to freeze sometimes under win2k, but that problem seemed to have cleared up. and i havent had any problems until just recently. i used a program called docmem, that i saw somewhere on this forum, to sscan my ram. i did a "quick scan" and it said my ram was ok. (i had to boot into win98 and reboot into dos, to get to dos) is there an easier way to get to real dos from win2k? it got mad cuz ntldr was missing on the disk.
anyway, my ram seems to look ok, but i still have the problems with these 2 games. and it seems to be just these 2 games... any ideas?
K6-III-450 on FIC PA-2013+(i believe), w/ MVP3 chipset
128 meg pc100(1 chip)
13 gig wd hd(7.2 gig win2k, the rest win98)
v770 ultra w/ detonator 5.32
sb live! w/ liveware3 for win2k
netgear nic
isa 56k modem
