RC1 + H&D

This is a discussion about RC1 + H&D in the Windows Games category; I saw posted on the site the other day that Hidden & Dangerous runs under Windows2000. Whenever _I_ try to load the game, however, it comes up with an error message: The ordinal 862 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.

Does anybody know what could be causing this, or if possibly H&D actually WON'T run under Win2K? That would suck...

I'm running H&D with the 1.2 Update, Win2K Professional RC1 (2072), I have 128mb of RAM, a Celeron-333, and a Diamond Viper V550 (Riva TNT) video card.

With the exception of Re-Volt and Magic: The Gathering, this is the only game I haven't been able to run in RC1. I've run software mode, D3D, and OpenGL-based games and applications with no problems.

Just for completeness' sake, I dug the SETWIN95.CMD off my NT4 Workstation CD and tried that, but it didn't do any good either.

Thanks for your time, and have a nice day.

I remember that I got H&D (v1.0) to run under RC1 but it ran REALLY slow... not choppy but just slow, like it took over 1 minute to get to the menu screen. That was on a TNT so I'm guessing H&D just has a major problem w/Win2k.
