Realmagic Hollywood+ & RC2

This is a discussion about Realmagic Hollywood+ & RC2 in the Windows Hardware category; I tried the modification of the registry to use the card under rc2 but afterward, each time I booted, I got a blue screen saying BAD_SPOOL. Does anybody have the same problem?.

i get sort of the same problem except that i get a blue screen everytime i shutdown or restart, the drivers i got were from dvdutils.com that were from sigma for the hollywood plus and win2k, b4 i used the drivers everything went fine.. i could play movies if i used dvdplay from ms, only if i had WinDVD istalled otherwise it would not detect the card.. so the only thing the drivers changed were that annoying blue screen, and even after i unistalled the drivers i still get the blue screen, im thinking of formatting just to get the screen to go away ..i'll try some other fix meanwhile ..if i get anywhere i will post.

OK, the problem disappeared when I installed the new version of the drivers from Sigmadesigns. You can find it in the same location as the previous ones ( ftp://ftp.sigmadesigns.com/outgoing/ ) but they are dated 10/06/99 (alpha drivers v1.1 instead of 1.0 )
