Using W2K, does anyone know how I can launch the fax service so that there is an icon sitting in the task bar from which I can switch receive on/off. I am looking for a quicker way of setting the fax to receive mode than going into the Control Panel, clicking on the Fax icon, going into Advanced Options, clicking on Fax Service Management Console, expanding Devices, right-clicking on Modem properties and clicking Receive.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have Office2000?

It ships Outlook with WinFax Pro lite edition and that can be easily set as a receiver of faxes...

Don't have Office2000, but I do have MS Works Suite 2001 - any idea if this contains it? I'll check the disks and/or the MS website.

Many thanks,
Alan
