Refresh rate in Games why???????

This is a discussion about Refresh rate in Games why??????? in the Windows Games category; Why is it, that in playing games in windows 2000, that the refresh rate always resets itself to 60mhz? When I play games in Win 98 its fine, but windows 2000 always goes to 60, why is that? I have a Elsa Geforce 2 video card and a P3 700 with 256 megs of ram.

There is a NVIDIA Refresh rate fix utility available somewhere on the net. I also have it, so if you want to, I can send you by email.
