One possible solution, would perhaps to map them as network drives, and have Windows automagically (I've always liked that word....) reconnect on bootup. That way the password should be saved. By default, for security reasons, Windows does not store the passwords longer than the users session, that is, until they log off. After that passwords are required again. I remember somewhere there exists a registery setting to be able tp change that but i am not quite sure where it is.
Cheers,
Steve

OP
thx for your reply. I already set windows to reconnect the needed shares on login that didn't help (I meant that when writing that win asks for the pass on every login)

It would be nice if you could remember where you found the description of this registry hack

Thanx
