When I rebooted I removed it from the BIOS as well, but Windows 2000 Pro insists on reinstalling the Floppy Disk Controller when it boots. I have even tried to enable 'Report no FDD for Win95' in the BIOS, but this does not help.
So even if there is no Floppy Disk Drive in my computer, the resources are not released.
I have an Abit BH6 motherboard.

Any ideas ?

OP
I have tried to disable the Floppy disk controller in Device Manager, but this does not stop Windows 2000 giving it resources.
System Information still says it is using IRQ 6 and such.
