resetting the way IE downloads ?
This is a discussion about resetting the way IE downloads ? in the Windows Software category; I was wondering if theres a way to reset the way IE downloads, I accidently clicked 'always open' or what ever it says, and now it only downloads to a temporary folder and I can't choose the location this is major pain.

Hi Mate,
I asume you do not want to downlaod IE and not have it auto install, which wont let you choose the location.
When you download it, choose Customise Installation then next. Then at the Components Options screen choose Advanced and tick Download only, which will allow you to download it and install it yourself to where ever the hell you want to
.
Cheers.
