RollerCoaster Tycoon How?

I have Windows 2000 final, but I can't run RollerCoaster Tycoon under it...?
It installs fine, but then when launched says "Sorry, not supported under Windows NT".
I did a clean install of Win2000. Running Apcompat and selecting Win98 brings up a message "Debugger Detected - Try again without the debugger".
Is there a trick to getting this to work?

OK, RCT needs to be installed in 98 (my version .164 did anyway) and patched in 98 (the patching program itself generated exception errors) but then it can be coaxed to run under Windows 2000. Woo Hoo!
