S3 Savage 4 (Creative Labs)?
This is a discussion about S3 Savage 4 (Creative Labs)? in the Windows Hardware category; I have recently installed Win2k pro and the new reference drivers from S3. My games are stutter (Solider of Fortune) and Unreal Tournament has many lines across the screen (menu screen). I know win2k pro installed S3 Savage 4 drivers on start - up, would it be best to keep to these.

I know win2k pro installed S3 Savage 4 drivers on start - up, would it be best to keep to these. Are they likely to run the games well ? (Due to beinf teste by Microsoft).
I know the new drivers have not been tested by Microsoft.
Anybody else have any ideas for running my games!!!!!!

I had a Diamond Stealth III 540 Xtreme...munning on those drivers and the betas that Diamond put out...
The thing gave me nothing but trouble-when I'd try to run Explorer, my computer would freeze, and I'd had to reset.
I threw in a GeForce and the problem went away...I'm not sure if it was bad drivers or a screwy card or whatever.
Good luck is all I can say....just don't be too surprised if nothing works right?
