SB Live 5.1....
This is a discussion about SB Live 5.1.... in the Windows Hardware category; I was at Comp-Usa today and noticed they have the complete line of 5. 1 sound cards in stock. I did not notice anywhere on the box that it came with the new Liveware drives but it did have drivers listed for all MS OS versions.

I have a SB Live Platinum, I was going to pick one up just to see if it had the new drivers and then return it but I thought I would post a message asking if anyone has picked one up and if there are new drivers boxed with it.
Anyone have one???
Maybe I'll pick one up later and if the drivers are new I'll post them on my FTP server. I'll post the URL if they are new.

I pick up one of the new 5.1 SB + Platium boxs today. The drivers appear to be liveware 4.0 but I could not get to work with a older SB live card. The new drivers did not/would not detect the older SB live card. Think they look for a new bios verision. Some of the cool things are the dobly 5.1 speaker support. I would be happy to upload the drivers to anyone if you ask.
We need Anthony Toste to fix the INF for all SB Live!'s

Not LW4 damm, A few of apps don't work with 1st nor 2nd rev card, The Creative PlayCenter 2.0 is junk other then that there nothing real new be side the Creative RemoteCenter.
The how ever the drivers do work with the 1st & 2nd rev card with no problem.
