Sb Live and Sb Live 1024 in W2k

This is a discussion about Sb Live and Sb Live 1024 in W2k in the Windows Hardware category; Has ANYONE tried to install the new LiveWare 3 Patch in Win2000 with a Soundblaster 1024 Card? It denies to work on my poor system. Seems like the patch is made for Sb Live cards ONLY? What is the difference between old SB Live and SB Live 1024 cards? Please help to sort this out.
