This is a discussion about sb live! sponsored* crash solution ... ? in the Windows Hardware category; While browsing some other forum, I guess it was a Darkstone forum, I came to an interesting post were it is asserted that changing the playback device (control panel >> multimedia) from SB Live! Wave Out to Game Compatible Device actually helped to run Darkstone as well as some other games with fewer problems.
