SB Live! Gameport

This is a discussion about SB Live! Gameport in the Windows Hardware category; I just bought a SB Live! Player 1024 and install sucessfully Liveware 3 under Windows 2000. Now my problem is that my Sidewinder 3D Pro doesn´t work anymore. Any idea how can I fix this? Christian.

OP
No, I was to lazy to download the NOV 99 drivers . I used the old instructions with the drivers from the Liveware3 CD.

I have the same problem too. BUT, when I went out to the MS web site, they said that the SWPro has a problem with 100+FSB PCs. They have a fix .dll out there. The kicker is that it didn't work for me. I have a BP6 w/(2) 366's and when I'm at 366 the SWPro works fine, but when I OC to 500+ (92 - 100fsb) the stick stops working.

Good luck... if you find a fix post it.
