sb128 (ct4700) + win2k => midi sounds weird

This is a discussion about sb128 (ct4700) + win2k => midi sounds weird in the Windows Hardware category; Creative didn't release any win2k drivers for the sb128 pci model ct4700. With the wdm driver it uses a microsoft syth to play midi, but it doesn't play right, it's crackling or something like that. ANything i can do about that? Anyone tried the ct4750 drivers on a ct4700? Thanks.
