SBLive installed but no sound!

This is a discussion about SBLive installed but no sound! in the Windows Hardware category; I got my Sound Blaster live installed with the disk that it came with, and win2k says everything is fine, but there is no sound! Anyone know why?

Win2k has built in support for the sblive. Don't use the NT drivers or the 9x ones, they won't work.

well, i tried that too. when i first installed 2000, it used its own drivers, and it did the same thing.

Do you have it plugged in [properly]? Also note that the digital board doesn't work...at least as far as I know. You have to use the analog out on the main board.

yeah, everything is plugged in right, i even tried plugin it into different slots, and i am using the analog output...
