Installing win2000 Server final release on a ide drive is ok, but when i try to access my u2w hd on an advansys asb3940u2w i got problems. I do the following steps:
- install win2k server
- go to the device manger, and check the unknown scsi device
- update driver, and select the right one (asc3550.sys)
- the driver will be installed, and the drives are ready, no reboot necessary
- i format the scsi drives, copy data on it,..
- everything is fine
- reboot the machine
- device manager
- here it is again, my unknown scsi device
- no chance to update my scsi-controller driver
- no other conflicts, the conntroller has no resource conflicts..
Where is the problem? I've checked it already 3 times, always the same behaviour, fresh win2k, update driver, working, reboot, no scsi drive available...
