services problem

This is a discussion about services problem in the Windows Software category; How do I put every service to its default? I dont know what happened, but I put every service to automatic, just to look more into what the services really do. Any way, now I cant put them back to manual, it goes half the way and then nothing.

Booting in safemode doesnt help, I still cant put them as manual.

Is there a solution for this? Can I somehow set all services to default?

(Typical, but I dont have an repairdisk at this time either)

either reinstall or just open up the services applet in admin tools and right click on the individual services and hit properties that should then bring up the properties menu where you can set em back to manual or automatic. If that doesnt work then looks like you will have to do option 1.
