Share files and printers

This is a discussion about Share files and printers in the Windows Networking category; Hi Can anyone tell me how to turn off shared files and printers. Im running NT SP 6A I'm also using Norton 2001 internet security. I went into network but could'nt see anything. Thanks. .

You can right click on the share in Windows Explorer and go to sharing. Then select "Not Shared".

Same goes for the printer.
