SideWinder Gamepad(non usb)

This is a discussion about SideWinder Gamepad(non usb) in the Windows Games category; Anyone know how(if there is a way) to get the sidewinder gamepad to work in Win2k? It cannot find it in game controllers

it did't detect mine automatically but after adding it manually it worked ok. connected to a sblive gameport.
