Sims 2 apartment life worked fine last week, but when i tried playing it today a pop up keeps comming and it says
"Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphis adapters in this system! Pleas emake sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatiple graphics adapter and have installed the drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate"
How do i fix this??? i tried a whole bunch of stuff i read online but it didn't work! Help!!

I am having the saamme exact problem, I've tried up[censored] all my drivers, installing and debugging directX9. but I still keep getting the same message.
I have an Nvidea Geforce 6600gt graphics card
3200+ 2.20 Ghz Amd athalon processor
768mb of ram
running on windows xp
80gig hard drive and 180gig hard drive. I have tried everything, down to even the game patches and its all up to date.
