Sof Load Time.
This is a discussion about Sof Load Time. in the Windows Games category; When i first bought sof before i installed it my friend acciedentaly broke it. i was pissed but he copyed his copy for me. I had to get a crack for it so i got the general crack. anways it loads extreamly slow and long.

Does it just take really long for everyone?

first off - what did you use to burn the cd? The original SOF cd reports to windows that it is >650 meg. You needed to use something like Nero to burn it, because it can burn oversize cd's (and you would have a duplicate copy of the original), then you won't need any kind of crack. It'll be the same as the original.
no it wont. it has cd protection..ud have to rip the iso at 1:1 and ignore errors with cdrwin which take FOREVER..and the burn it with the safedisk patch ...only then will it be correct..OR u could use cdclone if ur burner supports it..then ur all set
BULL****- I made an EXACT duplicate of my retail SOF using Nero by overburning. I don't need a hacked .exe or a patch to remove the CD. The original does NOT use safedisc. Where the hell are you coming from on that?? Could there be some that have Safedisc and some are oversized discs?? I highly doubt it.

Ok i had sof and i uninstalled it for an unknown reason.
Then my dog ate the cd.
So i used my dsl to download it and burn it with my cdrwin at 1:1
i upgraded so it woudl work in admin, and then i used the generic patch
is the generic patch makeing the game load slowley?
