software decoder for DVD on W2K ?

This is a discussion about software decoder for DVD on W2K ? in the Windows Hardware category; Any known to work with w2k software dvd decoder ? I can't seem to make zoran softdvd that came with my MX300 (including update on diamond website) to work. thanks.

Any known to work with w2k software dvd decoder ?

Try WinDVD 1.284 (and newer) - it installs under w2k and works fine. If you can't get it to play DVDs, just use w2k's inbuilt player (C:\winnt\system32\dvdplay.exe), and it'll use the WinDVD decoders.
