Solution in Win2000
This is a discussion about Solution in Win2000 in the Windows Games category; LucasArts posted me this not official solution for X-Wing Collectors Series & Trilogy (X-Wing 95 & TIE Fighter 95. Maybe X-Wing vs TIE Fighter too): I have received reports from customers who were able to run this game on a Windows 2000 system.

"I have received reports from customers who were able to run this game on a Windows 2000 system. To get the game to run, ddhelp.exe was added to the Windows\System32 folder of Windows 2000. The file is available in the
Direct X folder of the game CD. Insert the first game disc. Explore the CD for the Direct X folder. Copy the ddhelp.exe from this folder to the Windows\system32 folder of Windows 2000."
Anyone could verify? Post your result here please.

I tried this, and it allowed me to run TIE95's launcher without getting a DirectX error message. But the TIE95.exe itself still comes up with an error when trying to run.
