Some strange problems!
This is a discussion about Some strange problems! in the Windows Hardware category; Ok, I finally got round to installing Beta 1 of Whistler this weekend. . . And I've come up with some unusual problems. Firstly, the included driver for my Geforce 2 GTS doesn't allow any D3D apps to work.

And I've come up with some unusual problems.
Firstly, the included driver for my Geforce 2 GTS doesn't allow any D3D apps to work.
As Windows 2000 drivers are compatible, can anyone suggest which Detonators to try out, as trying the latest 6.67 and older 6.31 causes a lockup in booting (nasty shrilling noise being emitted from the speakers).
Ok, I read the posts earlier about fast boot times, and quite frankly, my system doesn't boot anywhere near as fast as 30 seconds. Make it a minute and 30 would be closer. Any reasons behind this?
The last thing, ICQ won't load. It did, now it just occupies 100% CPU occupancy and sits there... It worked fine this afternoon when I installed it.
Hope people who have been using it for a while can help me here...
