Soundblaster Live 3.?? what to get for win2k?

This is a discussion about Soundblaster Live 3.?? what to get for win2k? in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone got something to say about Live3 for Soundblaster Live? if you check will you not get any brighter. . atleast i didnt. . Yes, the drivers that came with are working but they are not good enough, like they dont support 4speakers, 34wave-devices at simutaiusly etc.

Yes, the drivers that came with are "working" but they are not good enough, like they dont support 4speakers, 34wave-devices at simutaiusly etc...

win2kbox.8m.com the instructions are right there and they are pretty easy to follow

I've been in Liveware III windows 2000 country for awhile now, and yes the instructions at chameleons site should work as should SHS's fix at this site. Do being the operative word in my experience. You will get the 4 speakers and devices and creative software, only you lose acpi power, so if you use standby or hibernation you won't anymore. I don't mind the WDM driver now with 2195 soo I am going to wait for Liveware for windows 2000 or liveware XXI, whichever comes first of course.
