Soundblaster Live! Digital output don't work
This is a discussion about Soundblaster Live! Digital output don't work in the Windows Hardware category; In build 2114 everything with Soundblaster Live! works OK except from digital output I can't get any sound. Any suggestion ??.

Oh, I posted allready a new thread, having the same problem
Basic sound only.
RC1 and beyond have built in sblive drivers.
They don't do all the extras, but you get fine sound out of them.
P.S. is just a rumour anyway LW3 may work
look for it next week

Just installed Win2k RC2 (build 2128) with the new SoundBlaster Live Value that has a digital out. The sound didn't work at start. Had to get drivers from http://www.mswin2k.net . It works fine but I couden't try digi-out.
P.S. I didn't have to disable ASPI support and the sound still works

The SoundBlaster Live Value didn't come with digital out, only digital in & it for the CDROM unless you got add card from Hoontech http://alive.singnet.com.sg/features/hoontech/io2.htm
He is refering to the new SB Live! 1024 that has digital out on the back of the card with the rest of the input/outputs. I had problems installing it at first as well....win2k didn't want to regocnise it as a sblive.
In that case one you send me win9x INF I fix it
