SPARQ Parallel Port for W2K
This is a discussion about SPARQ Parallel Port for W2K in the Windows Hardware category; Has anybody been able to setup SYQUEST SPARQ parallel port attachment in W2K? I tried the advise from NT Compatible H/W compatible section but I am lost! :0 I could not find the EPHDWNT. MPD file from ShuttleTech.

ShuttleTech. Also there are a lots of places
in SYQUEST.INF refer to SHARSHTL.SYS, do I
need to comment them all out? Any help to
get my SPARQ working is appreciated. Thx.

I have managed to get a Sparq PP Drive working under Win2k.
But only doing an upgrage. From Win95/98 or NT 4.0. I could not get the drive to work after a clean install of Win2k onto a blank hdd.

I downloaded that parallel port driver for my Aiwa Tape Drive. The driver worked, but the drive didn't. But the drivers were a real pain to uninstall.

FYI, I tried the driver and it worked wonderfully with my SPARQ.
