This is a discussion about StarFleet Command on Win 2000 in the Windows Games category; The site says it's supposed to work, but all my keyboard does is beep at me when I click it!! Using RC2 with a Voodoo 3000 card. .

It needs the directx drivers which come with RC3 or 2195. You are running a bit behind with RC2
Actually, I get the same problem with bld 2195 -- keyboard just beeps. Other than no keyboard functionality, game is playable.
I got round that by going back to windows (alt tabbing or ctrl/alt/del) and then going back into starfleet command. Keys worked then
