strange problems with 3DMark2000, WCPUID (and SP1?)
This is a discussion about strange problems with 3DMark2000, WCPUID (and SP1?) in the Windows Software category; since installing SP1 i have noticed some very strange results from these two programs, WCPUID recognises my processor as running at somewhere between 0. 5 and 6MHz (changes each time i click analyse) and occasionally gets it right at 749MHz.
since installing SP1 i have noticed some very strange results from these two programs, WCPUID recognises my processor as running at somewhere between 0.5 and 6MHz (changes each time i click analyse) and occasionally gets it right at 749MHz. 3DMark2000 also seems to have problems, believing my processor to be running at 200MHz, and giving results which do not tally with the test that were run (test will show it's running at around 75fps, 3dmark will repot it running at 20fps)
i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem since installing SP1, i'm using the latest version of both programs (3DMark2000 1.1, WCPUID 2.8)
