Swat 3 EE Win2k probs

This is a discussion about Swat 3 EE Win2k probs in the Windows Games category; I installed swat 3 elite edition but the game will not work. As it boots up it stops and this error pops up. DirectX error DDERR_GENERIC Does any body know whats going on? Im running Windows 2000 pro with direct x 8 Please help.
