System Shock 2 wont install

This is a discussion about System Shock 2 wont install in the Windows Games category; I try to install System Shock 2 and it wont install. . . . it says that winnt dosnt handle directx version 6. 1a or higher and I have dx7 final/ Does anybody know how to get around this please let me know through ICQ.
