Tiberian Sun - Blue Screen crash

This is a discussion about Tiberian Sun - Blue Screen crash in the Windows Games category; I'm trying to run Tiberian Sun on my laptop which is running NT4/SP4. It's a Toshiba Tecra 8000 (PII-266) and the video card is a Neo-Magic with dual TV/LCD capability. I have at least 32MB system RAM (think it's 64 actually).

I'm trying to run Tiberian Sun on my laptop which is running NT4/SP4. It's a Toshiba Tecra 8000 (PII-266) and the video card is a Neo-Magic with dual TV/LCD capability. I have at least 32MB system RAM (think it's 64 actually) .According to the manual the video RAM is 2.5 MB (weird number but that's what it says) so I should meet the minimum requirement. It should also be 16 bit capable since I can get 16 bit colour on the desktop.

TS installs fine but when I try to run it, it crashes with a "memory dump" error and the infamous Blue Screen. I've tried tinkering with virtual memory settings but it makes no difference and I'm not sure if this is the problem anyway.

I have the exact same problem with TA-Kingdoms.

Both games are reported on this board to work under NT.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks ...
