Timeline install for W2K

This is a discussion about Timeline install for W2K in the Windows Games category; Tried using App Compatibility Tool to install TimeLine under Windows 2K (SP1). Told it Win98, then ran SETUP. EXE Immediately get msg that MSVCRT. DLL is not compatible with Win32s. SETUP also does not detect that DirectX 8 is installed - wants to install v7.

MSVCRT.DLL version in \WINNT\System32 is 6.10.8637.0, dated 12/7/99

Any clues?

Disk I/O Error 00008001 what the hell does this mean???????

V4500 Tools and Wierd Reg Error ???
