TNT2 and dual processor system

This is a discussion about TNT2 and dual processor system in the Windows Hardware category; Anybody had any luck with any dual processor system, TNT2, and ANY TNT, Detonator, Geforce, whatever video drivers? I cannot get my system to pass even the most basic tests (ie: directx diagnostic) without a hard lockup if I use any video card based on TNT2 chipset.

Not running any background tasks at all.

My TNT2 Ultra runs fine with my Dual Celeron 433@507.
Maybe a problem with the powersupply ?
The TNT2 consumes more power than specified for AGP (I think the Voodoo3 does it too).
Test the card with annother mainboard.

OP
I have tried it with 2 different ABIT BP6 boards which my other two computers are running on with the same results. My power supply is 300 watt Supermicro full tower server case.
