Hi, hoping that someone out there can help me.
I have a TNT2M46 vid card from Guillemot and have had a problem with Nvdia's Detonator 3 drivers, both 6.18 and now 6.27 as well. The problem is that when I do a completely cold boot in w2k it stalls on the very first blue screen, at a point of initialising the vid drivers I think, with no mouse arrow. Upon re-setting it the boots ok and has no further problems. If I ever do a warm or a cold re-boot there is no problem, only when I leave the PC for some time.If I go back to the Det2 drivers I have no problems at all. Also I have seen postings on the MS newsgroup with other users having the same problem.
My m/board is SE440BX-2,256mb of ram, SB Live Gamer(wonderful card) Running w2k Professional OS.
I thank you in advance,
Chris

I do not seem to have a problem with the I/O Magic MagicVideo TNT2-M64 AGP 32 megabyte video card mounted in an ABIT BX6-Version 2 motherboard using the Detonator 3 drivers running Windows 2000 Professional.
I have 96 megabytes of RAM currently installed.
I did flash the BIOS in the video card a few months ago with the files and instructions from http://zoiah.m3dzone.com/, but I was not having any problems before I did the flash either.

OP
Sorry but it is a worthless exercise posting up replies that say, 'well my system is working ok'. I need answers and solutions please, I know that I am not alone with this problem so there must be someone out there that has a solution to it.
Ty, Chris
