Henry,

The ATI-TV Wonder will be supported under the Windows 2000 operating system
with the ATI Multimedia Center Software 7.1. This software is targeted for
beta release in Q3 2000.

Crap - Q3??? Same stuff as usual from ATI. I am very disappointed. I bought a Hauppauge WinTV because of this, but really like the TV Wonder better. This is very disappointing. I heard a rumour that ATI is working on a USB TV device and my guess is that it they will not be releasing 7.1 of the MMC until the new USB device is released. This is as bad as how long it took them to get version 2.0 of the TV Wonder software released.

Thanks for the update - anyone want to buy a TV Wonder?

I thought the current "special purpose" drivers worked with the TV Wonder? I know they weren't officially supported, just the "All In Wonder."

But I could be wrong...

I tried MMC 7.0 with the TV Wonder to see if there were drivers contained in it that could work with the TV Wonder. Unfortunately not. Is that what you were referring to? Thanks.

There is one thing I have to say:
One day soon I will be working for a hardware company. When that day comes I will seek out every one of those people who have responded to consumer need for software is involved with not writing drivers in a timely manner and make sure they are released from the company. This is just my take; so far, very few hardware companies drivers. Windows98 is obviously an inferior product to Windows2000, and anyone foolish enough not to see this has no right to be selling computer hardware anyway.
